In a bold move, the UAE has decided to teach Artificial Intelligence (AI) to students starting from kindergarten. This initiative reflects their vision to become a global AI hub and prepare future generations for a tech-driven world. Children will grow up understanding AI concepts like machine learning, robotics, and automation from a young age, giving them a major head start in tomorrow’s job market. Meanwhile, in India, AI is still mainly limited to higher education or niche courses.
Should India follow in the UAE’s footsteps and bring AI into the early curriculum? Or do Indian kids first need to build stronger basics in traditional subjects? While early exposure to tech could foster creativity and innovation, concerns also exist about screen time and academic pressure. What do you think—should we prepare young minds for the future, or give them more time to grow before diving into AI?
