Should OTTs with Indian investments suspend all contracts with Pakistan nationals/actors?

In recent years, OTT platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, and others have transformed entertainment. But when India-Pakistan tensions flare, a new debate emerges—should these platforms, especially those backed by Indian investment, ban Pakistani actors and creators? Many feel strongly that if there’s no peace at the borders, there should be no collaborations in cinema or shows. They argue it’s a matter of national pride. Others believe art, culture, and storytelling should transcend borders and offer a medium to build understanding.

Some OTTs have quietly dropped Pakistani talent, while others continue with content that was signed before political pressure mounted. The public remains divided. In 2025, when even cricketing ties are sensitive, the role of cultural exchange through OTTs is under the microscope. What do you think? Should these platforms take a hard stand, or keep creativity separate from conflict? Cast your vote and be part of the conversation.
